1. Who we are
Amrani Academy is operated by Amrani IT Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales ("Amrani IT", "we", "us"). Amrani Academy provides free online courses, self-assessments, and completion certificates. By using this site, taking a course, or completing an assessment, you accept these terms.
2. What the service is, and isn't
Amrani Academy is a free educational resource. Course content is written to be accurate and useful at the time of publication, but it is general information, not legal, compliance, financial, or professional advice, and it is not a substitute for qualified advice specific to your situation. We update content on a best-efforts basis but do not guarantee it reflects the very latest legal or regulatory changes. You are responsible for verifying anything you rely on for a business, legal, or compliance decision.
3. Certificates
A certificate confirms that a named individual scored at or above the published pass mark on a self-administered, randomised assessment at a point in time. It is not an accredited or regulated qualification, it does not verify the identity of the person who took the assessment, and it is not a guarantee of ongoing competence, professional standing, or fitness for any particular role. Assessments are not proctored or invigilated. Each certificate states an expiry date; after that date it should not be relied on as current. We may withdraw, correct, or decline to issue a certificate at our discretion, including where we reasonably believe it was obtained fraudulently or in breach of these terms. Certificates are provided free of charge and without any warranty as to their acceptance by any third party, employer, or regulator.
4. Your information
To issue and verify a certificate, we collect the name you provide, your assessment score, and the date of issue, and store them so the certificate can be checked on the verify page later. If a course asks for an email address, providing it is optional unless stated otherwise. We do not sell your information. We use a third-party processor (Supabase) to host this data, secured so that assessment answers and personal records are not exposed to other users of the site. You can ask us to correct or delete your record by contacting us using the details below, though this will invalidate the associated certificate's verification. This section is a summary, not a full privacy notice.
5. Acceptable use
Don't provide false information to obtain a certificate, attempt to automate, scrape, or brute-force the assessment or verification systems, resell or misrepresent course content as your own, or use the service in any way that breaches applicable law. We may suspend or block access for anyone who breaches this section.
6. Intellectual property
Course content, question banks, the Amrani Academy name, and the site design belong to Amrani IT or its licensors. You may use course content for personal learning and print your own certificate; you may not republish, resell, or redistribute course content in bulk without our written permission.
7. Availability and liability
Amrani Academy is provided free of charge, on an "as is" basis, without any uptime or availability commitment, and we may change, suspend, or withdraw it at any time. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Amrani IT excludes all liability for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site, reliance on course content, or reliance on a certificate, including indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
8. Changes
We may update these terms or course content from time to time. The version in effect is the one published on this page at the time you use the site.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
