4. Using AI well at work
Good prompting habits
Give the tool useful context, be specific about what you actually want, and iterate rather than expecting a perfect result on the first try, these all genuinely improve output quality. But none of that changes the core rule from earlier in this course: never include information in a prompt that you wouldn't be comfortable with a third party seeing.
A useful habit: before you paste something in, ask yourself whether you'd be equally comfortable pasting the same content into a public forum post. If the answer is no, it doesn't belong in a prompt to a tool whose data handling terms you haven't checked.
